We offer Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and Extended Care programs.

Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten Information

Ages Accepted
Town and Country Preschool is licensed for children ages 3 years to 7 years. All children MUST be potty trained with the exception of special needs children.
Preschool: Child must be three years by the first day of school.
Pre-Kindergarten: Child must be four years old and starting kindergarten the following year.
*Your child can enroll in District 49 Kindergarten if he/she is 5 years by September 15th.

Hours of Operation
A staff member will be available Monday-Friday 6:30am-6:00pm (excluding school holidays)

Preschool: Tuesday & Thursday: Morning session 8:45am-11: 30am
Afternoon session 12:30pm-3: 15pm

Pre-Kindergarten: Monday, Wednesday & Friday: Morning session 8:45am-11: 30am
Afternoon session 12:30pm-3: 15pm

Town and Country Preschool will be closed on the following holidays: Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving and the Friday after, Christmas Day, New Years Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and Presidents Day. Keep in mind that the preschool will be on break during most of these holidays. We will follow District 49’s break schedule. Specific dates for break closures will be given out at the beginning of each school year. Town and Country Preschool will NOT close the days District 49 has teacher work days, literacy days, staff development days and parent teacher conferences.

Tuition and Fee Schedule for Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten
Preschool…………..$125 per month
Pre-Kindergarten…..$185 per month

A $40.00 annual non-refundable registration fee is due for each child at the time of registration.

A 5% discount is given on tuition for each additional child within the same family.

You may pay tuition weekly or monthly. If you pay weekly, tuition is due no later than the Friday prior to the next week of attendance. If monthly payments are preferred, tuition is due no later than the 10th of the month. Financial assistance is not available at the present time. Please make checks payable to Town and Country Preschool. Visa, Mastercard and Debit cards are also accepted.

If tuition is not received the Friday prior to the next week, a $10 late fee will be charged. There will be a $25 charge for all returned checks.

Extended Care Program

About Extended Care
The extended care program is designed for families who need care for their children for more hours than what our preschool program provides. Most policies and procedures are the same for the extended care as they are for the preschool. Those that are not the same are listed below.

Hours of Operation
Town and Country will be opened from 6:30am-6:00pm M-F for only those families enrolled in the extended care class. There is a two-day minimum for extended care.

Town and Country Extended Care will be closed on the following holidays: Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving and the day after, Christmas, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day and Independence Day. Although the preschool/Pre-K classes will follow D49 break schedules, the extended care will remain open during the school district breaks except for those above listed holidays. 

Ages Accepted
The extended care class will have children ages 3-5 years. All children MUST be fully potty-trained except those with special needs.

Tuition and Fee Schedule for Extended Care
There is a two-day minimum for extended care. If your day care needs change each month/week please let the director know at the time of registration. Special arrangements may need to be made.

FULL DAY: 5 hours or more ($28 a day)

HALF DAY: Less than 5 hours ($20 a day)

Payment is due the first day of each month. If payment is not received by the 10th of each month a $10 late fee will be charged. If monthly payments are not possible, please speak with the director to make other arrangements. You may pay by cash or check. Please make checks payable to Town and Country Preschool. Credit/debit cards are also accepted.

Tuition payments are based on a four week month and remain constant regardless of holidays your child does not attend. This time is made up throughout the year by not being charged extra those months that have more days than other.

Drop in care is available for those families already enrolled in our programs. Space is limited.

Drop Off and Pick Procedures
Please do not drop your child off earlier than 6:30am. If your child is not picked up by 6:00pm a $5.00 per every 15 minutes will be charged. If an emergency delays you and you know you are going to be late, please call. Excessive late pick-ups will not be tolerated. If your child is scheduled to attend less than five hours and you have a situation where more care is needed; we can continue to care for your child at the full day rate as long as space is available.
